We created Rocksalt because we were looking for something that didn't really exist.
A van that can take us to the mountains in winter and across Europe in summer, while still being a place where we want to spend time when the weather forces us to stay indoors.

As a rough estimate, our demonstration van, built on a brand-new chassis, would cost approximately 150,000 €, taking into account its additional equipment and options.

This question affects everything: the placement of the windows, storage spaces, lighting, the bed, the kitchen—even where to put your shoes when you come home.

The Rocksalt interior combines the understated elegance of Scandinavian design with meticulously thought-out functionality.
The real oak and Fenix surfaces were chosen as much for their aesthetic appeal as for their texture, durability, and ability to develop an elegant patina over time.
No visible metal parts disrupt the living space; the finishes are meticulously crafted, and the drawers and cabinets close smoothly with an automatic locking mechanism while the vehicle is in motion.
The goal was not to create a concept vehicle that was off-grid or overly technical, but rather a calmer, more refined environment that would be deeply enjoyable to live in on a daily basis.
The partition between the cab and the living area enhances privacy, insulation, and acoustic comfort, making the rear of the vehicle feel more like a true living space
The Rocksalt van was designed from the outset to remain comfortable both during Alpine winters and during summers in southern Europe.
Multilayer insulation, aluminum vapor barriers, tinted double-pane windows, and thermostatic diesel heating help maintain a stable and comfortable indoor temperature year-round.
Special attention was given to ventilation and airflow to improve nighttime comfort during hot weather while maintaining privacy and discretion.
The van was put through its paces under real-world conditions, ranging from winter temperatures of -16°C in Val d’Isère to summer heat exceeding 40°C in Calella.
The goal was not only to design a van that was technically capable in all seasons, but also a living space that remains airy, quiet, and comfortable regardless of the climate or season.
Autonomy was incorporated into the project from the earliest stages of design.
The solar system, combined with charging via the alternator, provides sufficient electrical independence that external power connections are rarely necessary.
The flexible water capacity of up to 150 liters allows you to travel for extended periods away from campgrounds and service areas without constant constraints.
The systems were designed not to add complexity, but to make the journey more seamless and preserve a sense of spontaneous freedom.
Based on the Mercedes Sprinter platform, the exterior was deliberately designed to be understated and unobtrusive.
The OEM-style integrated windows, tinted glass, and carefully chosen exterior details allow the vehicle to blend in naturally in both urban and rural settings, without immediately giving away its traditional motorhome appearance.
The result is a high-end Sprinter conversion with a refined, subtle character and quiet, capable performance.
Despite its spacious interior and comprehensive features, the van can still be driven with a standard Class B driver's license.
